Chattahoochee & Gulf Railroad

A shortline railroad that operated between Hilton, GA, and Dothan, AL, on former Central of Georgia and Norfolk Southern tracks between 2003 and 2006. The C&G was owned by Gulf & Ohio Railways, a Knoxville-based company with shortline railroads in several states.

At Hilton, the railroad connected with the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad and Norfolk Southern's line to Albany.

The C&G, acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2006, was replaced by G&W subsidiary Chattahoochee Bay Railroad. Since 2015 the line has been operated by the Bay Line Railroad, also a G&W subsidiary.
