Bay Line Railroad

A short line operated by Genesee & Wyoming, the Bay Line Railroad extends from Hilton, Georgia, to Dothan, Alabama, and Panama City, Florida. Until 2015 its tracks in Georgia were operated as the G&W's Chattahoochee Bay Railroad.

At Hilton it connects with the Hilton & Albany Railroad and the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad. Both are subsidiaries of G&W.

The line in Georgia was once a branch of the Central of Georgia, and the line between Dothan and Panama City was once the Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay Railway. Georgia's Railroad History & Heritage. © Steve Storey.
