Riverdale Depot

This little wooden building at Riverdale is said to be the former depot for the Southern Railway line that once ran through town. Connecting Atlanta and Fort Valley, the line was abandoned in this area in 1939.

Riverdale is a city of 15,000 in northern Clayton County, about five miles south of Atlanta's airport.
