McDonough Depot

There's a train station under here. Southern Railway's former McDonough depot was used by a local lumber business until recently when it was vacated and boarded up.

McDonough, the county seat of Henry County, is a city of 22,600 located about 30 miles south of Atlanta.

An early twentieth-century photo indicates that that the building once had a tile roof and a dormer above the bay window.
