Lilly Depot

This building at Lilly is readily recognizable as a former Atlanta, Birmingham & Atlantic Railroad depot by its extra-wide eaves supported by extraordinarily long curving brackets. Other AB&A depots can be seen at Ideal and Andersonville. Tifton has two, one of its own and also one from Montezuma that was moved to the Georgia Museum of Agriculture back in the 1970s.

Lilly (pop. 208) is in Dooly County about six miles northwest of Vienna.
