Statesboro, Georgia

In 1922 the Midland Railway, an 88-mile line from Savannah to Stevens Crossing in northern Emanuel County, entered receivership. The 44-mile section from Savannah to Statesboro was abandoned in December 1923. The remainder was reorganized as the Statesboro Northern Railway and leased to the Georgia & Florida Railway. It was merged into the Georgia & Florida in 1927.

The line was abandoned in 1950.
