Waycross & Western Railroad

Incorporated February 19, 1912 in Georgia. Between 1912 and 1914, the W&W built a 44.5-mile line from Waycross to Milltown (now Lakeland). The route generally followed today’s GA 122.

After failing to generate enough traffic to continue operating, the railroad was abandoned in 1925.
