Savannah Port Terminal Railroad The SPTR, a private corporation, operates 23 miles of tracks at the Georgia Ports Authority’s terminal area in Garden City, near Savannah. The trackage was previously operated by the Savannah State Docks Railroad. Its operations began June 9, 1998.
