Streetcars of the Chattanooga Area
1895 Lookout Mountain Map

The Chattanooga & Lookout Mountain Railroad (labeled as the "broad gauge") is highlighted in blue; the narrow gauge railroad is in green; and Incline No. 1 is in yellow. The Chattanooga Southern Railroad is at the lower right, and the NC&StL RR and Tennessee River are at the top.

Incline No. 2, which opened in November of 1895 and remains in operation today, is not included on the map. If shown, it would be located south of the first incline and would be a straight rather than curved line.
