Georgia Railroad
1860 map

The Georgia Railroad is shown running from Augusta to Atlanta. At Union Point is a branch to Athens and near Crawfordville is a branch to Washington. A short branch from Camak to Warrenton is also shown.

Other railroads at Augusta were the Augusta & Waynesboro and the South Carolina Railroad. The Savannah Valley Railroad was only a projected route.

Other railroads at Atlanta were the Macon & Western, the Western & Atlantic, and the Atlanta & West Point. (Between Atlanta and East Point, the A&WP used the tracks of the Macon & Western.)
