Chickamauga & Durham Railroad

The railroad is shown here as the Chattanooga & Gulf. The line was begun by that company and completed by its successor, the Chickamauga & Durham, in 1892.

The eastern end of the railroad was at Chickamauga, identified on the map as Crawfish Spring, an earlier name for the community. The railroad running down the center of the map was the Chattanooga Southern, later the Tennessee, Alabama & Georgia.
