No longer in existence, Stockbridge's Southern Railway depot was located at the Love Street railroad crossing in downtown Stockbridge. The line through here was constructed in 1881-82 by the East Tennessee, Virginia & Georgia.

A city in northern Henry County, Stockbridge is situated 19 miles by railroad from downtown Atlanta.
