Ideal Depot

Ideal's 1906 Atlanta, Birmingham & Atlantic depot was donated to the city in 1974 by AB&A successor Seaboard Coast Line. It was moved away from the tracks and rehabilitated for use as a community center.

The town of Ideal (pop. 485) is located in Macon County in middle Georgia.

Similar AB&A depots can be seen in Andersonville and Tifton.
