Hawkinsville Depot
The Southern Railway depot at Hawkinsville, built around 1900, still stands, although not in as picturesque a setting as in this old postcard. It is now used as a scale house for a local agribusiness.
Hawkinsville, the county seat of Pulaski County in middle Georgia, is a city of 4,230 people. It is about 45 miles south of Macon.
