Hapeville Depot
A transportation museum is now housed in Hapeville's 1890 Central of Georgia depot. Aircraft, railroad, and automotive artifacts from the Hapeville Historical Society's collections are displayed. The city is home to a Ford automobile plant and the world's busiest airport.
The depot was remodeled and expanded in 1947 and rehabilitated in 1980. The photos below show the building before a recent repainting.
Hapeville is about seven miles south of downtown Atlanta.
