Southern Railway Freight Depot, Augusta This close-up of a 1917 Sanborn Insurance Map of Augusta shows the original freight room which sat perpendicular to Reynolds Street. It was demolished sometime after 1970. The office portion of the building was retained, as was the newer freight room alongside Reynolds Street.
