Atlanta Union Station Site


Atlanta's 1930 Union Station stood above the tracks where the blue shipping containers are seen in the above photo. Automobiles accessed the station from the Forsyth Street viaduct, which is visible in the background.

Today only a section of the trainside platform remains in existence, minus the butterfly shed which once shielded passengers from the weather.
