Union Station to East |
| On this 1871 map, Union Station is the arched-roof structure at top left, labeled no. 8; just below it, labeled "F" is the Georgia Railroad freight depot and that railroad's roundhouse. At the bottom right are the Atlanta & West Point freight depot (labeled "H") and the Atlanta & Richmond Air Line Railway depot (labeled "I").
The building with a center tower at lower left and labeled no. 2 is City Hall; Georgia's state capitol now stands on the site. Source: Ruger, A.
